Meal planning has always been such a daunting task for me! I don’t know why as it has immense rewards. It clears my head so I don’t have to think about what to cook and it saves my family money when I do the weekly shopping.
Watch my short video here to see what I do!
Spoiler: I can plan our week’s meals and make my shopping list in 5 minutes while in the grocery store parking lot! 😀
We have made things easy for you. My daughter has typed up our meal options (and included some additional popular choices as well) and has made them available to you here. Just print up the sheets, include them in your planner, and use them to make your own meal plans in less than 5 minutes. What could be easier?? 😀

Very similar to how I make our grocery list. Do you shop at the same time for your toiletries and such?
I do! I buy everything I need at the same time, preferably from the same store or two. I also use Amazon and Walmart.com to help with spending too much time shopping. I’d rather spend my time going on a date than shopping! Haha!
Thank you! I always try to complicate my meal plans, thinking I need to recreate my menu items every time I sit down to plan. I have go-to’s in my head, but it’s not a very extensive list and then spend so much other time searching online for crazy recipes I’ve never done before. If I would write down a list to go from, I would spend less time searching and feeling overwhelmed by options! I did see from another blogger mom, to go through the pantry and create meals from what you do have and then fill in (you’ll likely have less fill in) vs. set your plan, fill from the pantry (which may be little) and fill in (could be a lot). Taking that plan and moving it one step ahead has helped me rotate my pantry items better. It does mean filling your pantry with go-to items when they are on sale at the best price.
Yes! I do the exact same thing, searching for crazy recipes rather than the ones I know my husband likes, etc! Have you gone to making a list of your go-tos now?
